First Investment Bank – Albania, a rapidly growing commercial bank, is looking to hire a qualified individual for the position of:

Junior Specialist in Internal Audit Department

 

Job Description:

 

Junior Specialist in Internal Audit Department is responsible for:

 

  1. Assessing compliance with financial regulations and controls by following the steps of the audit program; testing, examining and analyzing data, reports, operating practices and documentation.
  2. Completing audit working papers documenting audit tests and findings.
  3. Works with the bank's accounting system without having access to operations.
  4. Monitors Action Plans.
  5. Respects the protection of the Bank's assets from abuse.
  6. Ensures compliance with the Bank's policies, plans, internal regulations and regulatory framework.
  7. Protecting the organization's reputation by keeping information confidential.
  8. Updating work knowledge through participation in professional organizations and personal networks.
  9. Contributing to the team by presenting and exploring new opportunities to add value to the organization.

 

 

Competencies / Skills:

 

  • Education:                                            Higher education, Faculty of Economic

 

  • Work experience:                                 0–2 years

 

  • Computer skills:                                   Windows, Word, Excel, Access

 

  • Individual criteria:                                

 

  1. Ability to identify problems, formulate ideas, and present conclusions and recommendations                                       
  2. Organizational and planning skills.                                             
  3. Ability to write clearly and concisely and to communicate effectively                              
  4. Ability to work both in a team and independently; 
  5. Commitment and a continuous willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest developments in the field of auditing.
  6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Customer-oriented approach and willingness to support end users.
