First Investment Bank – Albania, a rapidly growing commercial bank, is looking to hire a qualified individual for the position of:

 

Software Developer in IT Department

Job Description:

 

Software Developer is responsible for:

 

  • Understand technical and functional requirements from business.
  • Assist in physical and logical database design.
  • Design, code, and test technical solutions.
  • Maintain and update the Bank’s internal and public websites.
  • Maintain and update the Bank’s internal applications.
  • Provide technical support for users of internal applications.
  • Control the automatic procedures and daily opening / closing operations (evening and morning procedures).
  • Generate reports based on the requirements of the Bank’s departments.

 

Competencies / Skills:

 

  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET.
  • Knowledge of PHP is considered an advantage (legacy application maintenance).
  • Good knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
  • Experience or knowledge in Oracle & PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
  • Basic experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects.
  • Prior experience in the financial sector, especially banking, is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Very good command of English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to analyze existing processes and suggest improvements.
