Fibank is a Bulgarian bank with residence in Sofia, Bulgaria. It became present in Albanian market when opened its own branch in Tirana on 1999.
First Investment Bank, Tirana branch was registered in the Trade Register of the Albanian Republic on 25.01.1999. Its banking activity has been regulated under the relevant provisions of the applicable legislation in the Republic of Albania. The Branch was licensed by the Bank of Albania with license No.13, dated 16/04/1999, to conduct its banking activities, in accordance with the legislation in force, as branch of a foreign bank. Its banking activity has been increasing year to year, as a result of the diversity and quality of services and products, being possible through a high qualified staff.

First Investment Bank carries out a systematic and consistent social policy aiming at integrating the financial institution into social life and society in general, and at helping to resolve socially important issues. The Bank gives priority to children's charities and also to the preservation and promotion of the culture heritage. In 2006 only, the Bank has cooperated with the municipality of Durres and the Durresi association in sponsoring of the "Olive Fest". FIBank - Albania has sponsored a group of orphan kids in participating in a weightlifting activity in the city of Vlora. The Bank has agreed to sponsor different activities for the orphan and sick kids in Albania organized by the "Albanian Children Foundation" and in this regard, FIBank - Albania has sponsored a Christmas party for the kids with talassemia residing in the "Mather Theresa" Hospital here in Tirana.
First Investment Bank Albania was the first bank in Albania to begin offering investment gold to its customers in 2001, in the shape of bullion and coins. Thus FIBank - Albania included Albania in the world system of investment gold and other precious metals trading, strictly adhering to the quality criteria of the London Metal Exchange and international standards for ethics in trade.
The Bank offers products with guaranteed liquidity, made of precious metals and possessing certificates of origin and quality, recognized all over the world. Customers can buy these products in the majority of the offices in the country, choosing from investment grade gold bullion and coins, silver coins, and medals.
The Bank began selling in Bulgaria the highest grade (999.9) gold and silver bullion medallions in 2003, made by Produits Artistiques de Métaux Précieux in Switzerland, some of them designed by and custom made for First Investment Bank. And in 1999 brought this tradition in Albania. FIBank also sells commemorative coins, issued by BNB.
