 | Matthew Mateev Chairman of the Board of Directors of First Investment Bank - Albania Mr. Matthew Mateev, chairman of the Managing Board and Executive Director of First Investment Bank - Bulgaria, joined FIB-Bulgaria in 1993. In 1998 he was appointed member of the Managing Board and Executive Director. In 2006 he was appointed the Chairman of the Managing Board. His previous experience is in corporate banking. Mr. Mateev holds a Master’s in International Economic Relations and a Bachelor’s in accounting and financial control from the Higher Institute of Economics (now the University of National and World Economy) in Sofia. In 2006, he was named ‘‘Banker of the Year’’ by the Bulgarian financial weekly “The Banker”. In FIB-Bulgaria he is responsible for the Corporate Banking Department, the Microlending Department, the Legal Department, the Impaired Assets and Provisioning Department and the Loan Administration Department.  | Maya Georgieva Member of the Board of Directors of First Investment Bank - Albania Ms. Maya Georgieva, member of the Managing Board and Executive Director of First Investment Bank - Bulgaria, joined FIB-Bulgaria in 1995 as a director of the International Department. In 1998 she was appointed Executive Director of FIB-Bulgaria. Before joining FIB-Bulgaria Ms. Georgieva was a Deputy General Director responsible formoney markets in the Bank for Agricultural Credit. Previously she spent 19 years of her career at Bulgarian National Bank and has considerable experience in international banking. Her last appointment at BNB was as the Head of the “Balance of Payments” Division. She holds a Master’s in Macroeconomics from the Higher Institute of Economics (now the University of National and World Economy) in Sofia. She has а specialisation in international payments at the International Monetary Fund and a post-graduate specialisation with the Bulgarian Scientific-Technical Union. In 2001, she was named ‘‘Banker of the Year’’ by the Bulgarian financial weekly “The Banker”. In FIB-Bulgaria she is responsible for the International Payments Department, the Marketing and Advertising Department, the SME Lending Department, the Sales Department, the Human Capital Management Department and the Administration Department.  | Evgeni Lukanov Member of the Board of Directors of First Investment Bank - Albania Mr. Evgeni Lukanov, member of the Managing Board and Executive Director of First Investment Bank - Bulgaria, joined FIB-Bulgaria in 1998 first as Deputy Director, then as Director and General Manager of the Tirana Branch, Albania. From 2001 to 2003 he was a Director of the Bank’s Vitosha Branch (Sofia). From 2003 to 2007 he was a Director of the Risk Management Department and a member of the Managing Board, and since 2004 he has been an Executive Director and a member of the Managing Board. Previously, Mr. Lukanov worked as a currency dealer in FFBH. He holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia. In FIB-Bulgaria he is responsible for the Risk Management Department, the Methodology Department, the Retail BankingDepartment, and the Liquidity Department; jointly with Mr. Mateev - for the Impaired Assets and Provisioning Department and the Loan Administration Department and jointly with Mr. Skorchev for the Private Banking Department. Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Todorov was appointed CEO of First Investment Bank Albania in October 2007 after 11 years of a successful banking experience.
His previous position held for four years was Head of Impaired assets and provisioning Department in First Investment Bank Bulgaria.
He is a master in Finance from the Economic University in Sofia and handled different positions in banking sector since 1996.
He is focused on implementing a customer oriented and strategic business development in FIB Albania and there is a significant progress of this section on the bank during these last two years.
