The documentary letters of credit represent the highest possible protection against certain risks, in particular those related to payment, which result from international commercial relations. It is an irrevocable written commitment by the bank in favor of a supplier of goods or services to pay the amount defined according to the conditions of the letter of credit, provided the beneficiary presents identical documents as required in the letter of credit.

Incoming transfers are booked in the client’s account as soon as First Investment Bank receives the funds cover with the same value date. This procedure is the same for all clients
despite the branch where they hold their account. First Investment Bank does not apply any commissions for incoming transfers, either national or international ones.
